“My Daughter and I visited COHO in late January for a ski trip during a snowstorm. We were greeted by the owners and their daughter Rosie shoveling off our entrance to room. The room had exactly what we needed for a overnight stay. After Dinner we went into Lobby/Lodge and played board games, vintage Pacman and bought some local craft beer. We had hot coco/tea. I was lucky to have great conversations with owners and talk about them rehabbing and reviving COHO and challenges that come along with...

“Best hotel in Rutland. Breakfast was good. Staff were good. Room was very good. Features like self-serve laundry and a pool are token amenities but appreciated. The hotel was recently renovated and it shows. The hotel is right next to a retail plaza with a decent restaurant and big supermarket, and is very easy to drive in and out of to access the area.”

“Place was disgusting, I would not allow my hunting dog to sleep in those rooms, toilet non functioned, dirty stained bedding and floors, bathroom was nasty.. we left no money back do not care... The entire place smelled like moldy wet dirty socks.. hair and other things on floors. Place should be condemned..”

“The staff is great and the room was clean and comfortable. We were there with snow on the ground and we were disappointed that they didn't get a fire going in their community room. We wanted to sit and play games there but it was too cold. He said they only do fires on the weekend, which was really something I believe they should consider changing. People pay to stay during the week too.”
