"This is a no frills motel but the room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The only issue we had was that our door to the room which went to the outside was very hard to open and close . It really needed replaced. Also only one ice machine for 3 buildings. It would have been nice to have an ice machine in each building. Otherwise this was a good value for the money."

"Charming Historic Hotel The General Francis Marion is a great hotel with so much classic charm and history. The staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Our room was very clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable after a long day of travel. A solid, historic property that covers all the basics exceptionally well. Close to Grayson Highlands Hiking - We'd definitely stay here again!"

"Property was clean. More importantly the room was clean. Room was large enough to fit a small play yard for 9 month old twin girls. I will stay at this property in the future. Workers manning the front desk were friendly and courteous. Plenty of parking and easy access to highway."
