"We arrived right at check-in time at 4:00 and were informed that our room wasn't ready, despite having already paid for the room and arriving at the check-in time. Of course this was frustrating, but they had the room ready before I finished the check-in process. Then we went to the room and when we tried to rent a movie (at the cost of $30!) for our children to watch with their babysitter while we went downstairs to a concert (the entire reason we went there) and it wouldn't let me rent a movie, saying that I wasn't checked in. I cashed the front desk and was told I needed to come downstairs to deal with it. So I did, and stood in line... again. They couldn't resolve the issue, so I changed rooms, which was also incredibly frustrating. Lastly, of course it's a casino, but it smelled so badly of cigarettes and one of the elevators was broken, making getting up and down between the floors incredibly time consuming. For $330 for one night, I would've expected much better."

"It was okay, but I expected more for the price. The kids beds were made poorly, the blankets didn’t fit the sizes of the beds, the coffee machine didn’t work, the doorstop was on the counter when we first arrived and the king bed was rather uncomfortable. We didn’t get our lanyards at check in. It was an underwhelming experience"

"On a budget it’s price is quite a bit cheaper then other properties in the area. Starbucks is across the street 1 minute walk and opens at 5am or earlier, el pollo and Wendy’s also across the street and a donut shop. Rooms are small shower even smaller. Close to everything in Oceanside.. I recommend it if you’re okay with older motel offering value, only for a day or two at the most otherwise spend more money on a higher rated hotel/motel. Hope this helps someone"

"Arrival (Monday): My assigned room was not ready. I waited 30 minutes for a reassignment, only to receive a dated, gloomy room with grease stains on the bathroom walls, rusted sprinkler heads, and stained floor tiles.Hygiene Issues: The shower stall contained a long hair from a previous guest. When I moved the bath mat, the floor underneath was visibly filthy. Housekeeping Failures: My room was completely skipped on Tuesday. Manager Meeting (Wednesday): I met with the property manager and showed him photo evidence. He agreed the room condition was unacceptable and explicitly promised to "make it right" if I agreed to stay the remainder of the week. The room was finally cleaned that afternoon. Continued Neglect (Thursday): The room was skipped again. The front desk dismissively stated cleaning only happens every two days. Checkout (Friday): The property manager was unavailable. The front desk clerk brushed off photos of the dirty sink, shower, floor, and mirror as "normal," refusing to assist with the manager's promised adjustment. I honored my end of the agreement by staying the entire week based on the manager's word. I attached the photos of the room's condition as proof and emailed the manager as he requested. .I request a MINIMUM 50% refund to settle this matter. Anything less would be an insult."
