Great hotel opposite Kyoto Station so very handy. Room was spacious which is unusual in Japan. Had a laundry room which was only ¥600 to use although we had to hang up clothes in room as it didn't dry them completely. Loads of good restaurants nearby in station (who would have thought) as well as combinis. Several shopping malls close by as well. Overall a good hotel and one I'd stay at again.

Best hotel highley recommend

The hotel is near a lot of underground shopping and restaurant areas. This can make navigation a bit tricky because it's not always clear if the place you are looking for is street level or below. The room was a decent size, but the beds were much closer that expected. Our room had three beds. There was a small walking space between the two larger beds. The smaller bed was touching a wall on one side and the larger bed on the other. There wasn't a lot of room for luggage, but the bathroom was a reasonable size.

The hotel itself was very stylish and there was free beer from 6-7pm plus a DJ during that time too. The rooms were nice and clean and modern. The shower was amazing - great water pressure but would've preferred the bathroom to be separate - there's a curtain between the bed and sink which helps for a bit of privacy. There's a few reasons I'm giving it a 4* and not a 5*: The check in was not great. After a long trip I don't expect to fill in a check in from myself. There was a lady overseeing the process and she mentioned the free beer and DJ but wasn't very welcoming and didn't mention all of the amenities (free coffee, laundromat, what's available at the restaurant etc). The location was excellent - lots of good restaurants in the neighborhood and close enough to umeda and namba. They gave us an option of jpy1000 or room service - we opted for the former. When we went to spend the jpy1000 one morning we were told the only thing we could purchase was the jpy2200 full breakfast which we didn't want. So we ended up gifting it to someone else. We appreciated that they had a laundromat but we found it very expensive - jpy800 for wash/clean. We stayed at other hotels in Japan where it was either free or very cheap (e.g. jpy200).

The hotel is clean and beautiful. The location is fine. You can walk to the Osaka Castle. There is a train station nearby. Breakfast is great. Staff is very helpful.

The location was amazing. Buffett was way overpriced and food was cold. Our room was nice but there was very little privacy for the bathroom and there were three of us sharing the room. Also, our room had a foul smell that seemed to be coming from the carpet.

Am absolutely amazing hotel, will stay here whenever I am in Osaka

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The location required taking Uber or trains to get out to most restaurants and shops. They advertise pools but not only are they not included with your room you have to pay and also choose a specified amount amount of time to use it.
