Older hotel, but beautiful. It’s not easy to get to from the airport if you are taking a taxi or limo bus. Takes about 2 hours with traffic. Multiple restaurants, but there is usually long lines for the buffets. Absolutely gorgeous ocean views. Only two out of three elevators were working and we were on the 9th floor, so on average it took between 5-10 minutes of waiting during busy times to get on an elevator. Most times we were crammed in like sardines and stopped at every floor.
Property is walkable and there are hidden little beaches everywhere. You can rent an e-bike and ride around. We rode to the lighthouse and into town. The staff were excellent and the rooms were huge. Only a few restaurants were open in March. I guess more open up over the summer, but finding options were limited. There is a little town square about a 12 minute walk from the hotel that has more dining options.

The AC and the room lights were only controlled by inserting the room key. We could not shut the light off without turning the AC…. So it’s either bright when you sleep with the lights on with AC or lights and off with AC off and hot.
