“Our stay was straightforward and the room was clean. The bar and restaurant were closed for a private event the night of our stay leaving us with very limited dining options. We found a takeaway restaurant down the street and were able to take our meals into a neighboring pub. Also, there was no hair dryer provided. The stay was fine but I don't think I would stay again. ”

The host's attention to details, full of thoughtful touches, and the selection of quality furniture took our stay to a whole new level, even comparing to some top branded hotels. It was an extremely enjoyable stay and would definite visit again.”

“The self check in is convenient however with check not until after 3pm we didn't arrive until after 4pm when it was dark. The house had very little lighting outside which was difficult to manage in. There's not many amenities for a dog friendly house, eg outdoor bins for waste, possibly a hose for cleaning the stones. There was no soap at the kitchen sink so you have to go into the bathroom in the bedroom to wash your hands, again this isn't convenient. There was dust behind the lockers in the...

“Couldn’t warm up the pod enough to make it comfortable for the night and the privacy glass does not provide complete privacy even when the directions for it to work were followed. ”

“The place is nice and close from Bus centre. But they give me a room very loudly because of fans near by. The others were good.”

“Really peaceful place to stay, there was everything we needed in the cottage, i had to ring the host as tv wasnt working for us and the host arrived in about 10 mins to sort out. Weather wasnt the best when we where there, so it was nice and cosy staying in. I would recommend this cottage as we where very comfortable there ”

“The hotel is ideally located & has everything you'd need for a stay. The service from all staff was excellent & there's a great choice of food & drinks. There's plenty of parking & a TV in the bar showing the different sports events, with plenty of tables in different positions in the bar, as well as a separate restaurant.”

“Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle.”
