“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

“Drumee Lodge is a beautiful property, in a picturesque location, close to the Mourne Mountains. The property is stunning and the hosts are fantastic. They were both so welcoming and made our stay so special, including leaving chocolates and a birthday card, in our room. Highly recommended to stay. We will stay again ”

“It was very cold and our room had no heating, they did supply us with a heater which promptly broke down, they did very kindly offer us dinner on the house, which we accepted. The hotel itself is a little tired and although it has been partially upgraded it still needs a lot of refurbishing to bring it up to an acceptable standard.”

“Everything was spotless, communication was constant and helpful, our dog was welcomed to the cottage and we had the sea on our doorstep.”

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“Really peaceful place to stay, there was everything we needed in the cottage, i had to ring the host as tv wasnt working for us and the host arrived in about 10 mins to sort out. Weather wasnt the best when we where there, so it was nice and cosy staying in. I would recommend this cottage as we where very comfortable there ”

“We had a lovely stay at Drum Manor. Valerie was a great host, making sure we were comfortable in our room and then the next morning, providing a delicious breakfast. The rooms are in great condition and nicely decorated, including a freestanding rolltop bath! There are 360 degree views as Drum Manor is on a hilltop. Valerie gave us a great dinner recommendation in Hillsborough (The Plough) so would also recommend that. 10/10 would definitely stay again.”

The host's attention to details, full of thoughtful touches, and the selection of quality furniture took our stay to a whole new level, even comparing to some top branded hotels. It was an extremely enjoyable stay and would definite visit again.”
