“Fabulous hotel in lovely location. I could tell you about the great bedroom with very spacious bathroom with great towels. Both spotless. I could tell you about their excellent dinner menu & equally excellent breakfast. Instead I'll tell you about the staff. Every one of them from check-in to restaurant staff were friendly, knowledgeable & professional. A credit to the hotel.”

“We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....

“Stayed just for 1 night having stayed the same time last year. Staff were superb, friendly and welcoming, they acknowledged they remembered us! We noticed the small touches like the amenity kit in the room containing toothpaste, razor etc etc - just about anything you'd have forgotten! Lovely big bed, everything felt clean and loved in what's clearly an older property. Breakfast was continental, seems more choice with mini pastries added alongside cereals, breads for toasting, fruit, yoghurt,...

“The house is perfect and its setting is beautiful in the Mourne ANOB. The host's attention to details, full of thoughtful touches, and the selection of quality furniture took our stay to a whole new level, even comparing to some top branded hotels. “Drumee Lodge is a beautiful property, in a picturesque location, close to the Mourne Mountains. The property is stunning and the hosts are fantastic. They were both so welcoming and made our stay so special, including leaving chocolates and a birthday card, in our room. Highly recommended to stay. We will stay again ”

“Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle.”
