“We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family.”

Very dated ,balconcy ,paint flaking off handrail ,chairs no table ,patio doors needed a good clean. Not enough sockets,no bathrobes or slippers as advertised. “Was in Torquay for a week at a Christian conference in the riviera centre. The guest house was 5 minutes walk away so really convenient. Breakfast was excellent with lots of cooked choices. There was also cereals which I never managed as the cooked was large enough to see me till dinner time. Jonathan was a good host. The guest house was very clean and well kept, a sign that the owners took pride in the service they gave. Would definitely recommend. ”

“When i checked in the people were so welcoming and friendly, close to the city centre of so easy walkable to the pubs and shops. My room was a decent size for 1 person, nice and comfortable, the only issue i can think of is the bathroom was a little small and hot water took quite a while to come through, Breakfast in the morning was also very nice, i will definitely stay again if I come back to Torquay.”
