“Expensive??”

“It's a very cute old building. The owner, Jeff, was very kind, helpful, and flexible. It was close to everything in town. The room was beautiful and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again when in Haines.”

“Grocery store in one side, a great resturant in the other. Full, modern kitchenette in the rooms. Very friendly and gelpful folks there too. ”

“The diner was absolutely perfect. The town does shut down pretty early, so getting a later dinner is not really very easy. The diner stays open until 8pm. The food is really good, and the staff is even better. We ate breakfast there every day of our trip and even had dinner there twice. ”

“Gorgeous property. Lovely rooms. They don’t offer room cleaning if you stay multiple days. So knowing where to take out the garbage or walking down to get toilet paper really didn’t march the hotel. It is a beautiful clean room. So nice. But having to get my own toilet paper and walk with towels down the hall doesn’t really match the appearance of the hotel because it is so nice. ”

“This was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partner’s birthday. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Location is right in the downtown area near all restaurants, shops, and public transit yet quite quiet. Our 3 night stay was excellent! Facility could use an update, but it was absolutely fine for us especially with the spacious...

“Very quiet. Clean rooms but bathroom had a couple of hairs in the tub. When we stayed a few days ago that room was clean. This one also needed a rug cleaner. ”
