“Food was very good and reasonably priced. Selection of drinks was limited. Room was OK but the mattress on the bed was very cheap and like a soft bouncy castle.”

“My room was amazing! It was very spacious and comfortable. The tea was really nicd and the bathroom was huge with lots of storage. I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute that I was in my room. I ate at the restaurant and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. It was very apparent that it was made to order. I would stay here again and I highly recommend it. It is also a nice driving distance from Edinburgh. ”

“This was a last minute booking. We got our room for a very good price even by budget hotel standards. It was a no frills hotel but staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the setting was so peaceful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our dog loved exploring around the race course (not a race day) despite the weather. ”

“Wir haben in dem Hotel 2 Nächte verbracht, fanden die Betten zu schmal, weiterhin wäre eine 2. Bettdecke sinnvoll. Leider kein deutscher Sender im TV. Personal sehr freundlich, Abendessen laut Karte genug Auswahl, Frühstück leider kein frisches Gemüse, nur Toastbrot, kein Aufschnitt, der Kaffee traf leider nicht unseren Geschmack. Parkplatz vorhanden, Lobby einladend zum verweilen… Raucherzone leider klein und voller Zigaretten Kippen. ”

“Our rooms were not ready when we arrived so we had a beer in the bar. We were tired from hiking and there was no where to stretch out and relax. Room was pretty clean, but it looked like the carpet wasn't vacuumed too well, but was okay.”

“We appreciated the friendly approach of the breakfast chef and staff. Her cooking was excellent. The bathroom was very nice. The bathroom fan could be quitter, the door was hard to open and close. The room could have more electrical outlets or power bars, e.g., for charging cell phones. The lounge room was quite nice. The exterior was breath-taking. ”
