“The hotel has a large car park. The rooms were clean and warm. The hotel was taylored more for eating. The meals were excellent and the bar closed early after meals were finished. There were no casual bar customers. Pleanty of bars close by. The area was very safe and comfortable to walk around at any time..Nice friendly staff.”

“First visit here and very pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 7pm and immediately you could feel it had a very good ambience. It was busy with most people enjoying an eveing meal. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We hadn't booked a table for our evening meal as we weren't sure of our plans when booking the room. “The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was freshly cooked to order. However, there was no bar or restaurant in the hotel and apparently all the nearby bars in Jedburgh close at 8pm! Luckily there was a fantastic Italian restaurant opposite which was superb so we ate well.”
