“We loved our stay in the Turtle room! We had a last minute change in our itinerary and needed a place for only one night... But we wished we had more time at this spot! The owners are very kind and responsive. The room was very comfy and cozy. I appreciated all the shelving in the rooms and bathroom. AC worked great. And the screened in porch was really wonderful to hang out on. It's also in a great location for wandering around the village. ”

“STAY HERE! The best experience I’ve had at any resort ever. The staff is lovely, the food is fantastic, and the island itself is right out of your wildest dream. At night, there are noises akin to what you’d hear on a ship, or deep in the woods—which may be relaxing to some and annoying go others. Also, the hot water can be an otter finicky. But trust me, you will not care! This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I wouldn’t miss for anything! No other vacation has compared. ”

The boat ride from Placencia was definitely farther than a 10 minutes....more like a 40-45 minute trip as the island is approx 20 miles in the middle of the ocean. The staff is one of a kind..... “This was a fantastic condo. It has 4 units and shared laundry. We had the front unit looking at the owners house. Not really sure how they plan on parking for 4 cars as they are rebuilding the property fences. More than likely, golf carts only in the future. Anyway....EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! And you have resort access for 2 other places as well. This was one of the few places on the boardwalk we could park a car because we were passing though going south. These folks get 6 of 5...
