“Room & service was great, clean & fresh. Bed was clean but a bit on the hard side, not good for someone disabled, woke up in considerable back pain but can't complain about anything else.”

“What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. The pub has a great atmosphere and we eat in the pub on the evening. I had home made steak pie with yorkshire puddings to start. The bedrooms are modern and very clean with tea msking facilities...

“Made welcome straight away and made an suggestion to switch the intended room which I booked as the landlord seeing i was struggling with my knee. Room was clean as with facilities. ”

“Lovely place with easy walking distance to the sea front and the town. The room was comfortable and perfect for our one night stay. We had a really nice breakfast before leaving to set us off on our way. Very helpful advice as well about the parking as the disc zone starts almost outside and there are plenty of discs in reception. ”

“A lovely gem of a hotel, from a different era, but in a really good way. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, everything was spotless and looked loved. If you’re after a modern hotel, with all mod cons, then not here, but for charm, and just gentle loveliness, a great place. Minor gripes - bottle of water and shower gel / shampoo not replaced when empty. Shower one which was either boiling or ice cold on a millimetre turn. But genuinely minor & did not, in any way, dampen the stay....

“It's a cheap and cheerful B&B except no breakfast at the moment (probably because of the season). Lots of cafés nearby though. Don't expect the height of luxury at £65 a night for a double room en suite. The view was to die for!”

“Booked the apartment for a short stay. Good communication from the owner with entry instructions, good directions. It is obvious that the apartment sees a lot of footfall being very close to the seafront of the north bay, but it offered everything needed for the stay; very comfortable, clean furnishings; ample clean towels and bedding; nice clean kitchen with breakfast bar; good sized fridge freezer; washing machine. Bathroom was a nice size, very clean, and warm. I didn't need parking so unsure...
