When it's sunny you can sit in front of the house or lie in the grass, when there's rain you can huddle inside or sit under the canopy. “Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. ”

“Our room, No 6, was fairly compact but it was spotlessly clean and fresh smelling. The modern shower and toilet room was also spotless. The staff were very friendly. We didn't see the option of breakfast so we couldn't have the residents' breakfast which included cereal and more, so we chose breakfast from the menu. It was very good - perfect poached eggs and great tea. We will be going back in the summer.”
