โStayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I canโt recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay.
Not forgetting the pub attachedโฆโฆwhere we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie weโve ever had with great personal service too.

โWe stayed for our Anniversary trip and I booked the Olympic suite restaurant and wasnโt disappointed, fabulous food, wonderful attentive staff who couldnโt do enough for us , room was fantastic comfortable beds and pillows , bed was enormous, we had a bath and shower and tea making facilities, everything was within walking distance, lovely few days would certainly go back and a great choice , my only negative was parking which can spoil your experience and made arrival for us very stressful โ
โPerfect location between Barter Book and the Playhouse with bus stop right outside. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nice patio outside to enjoy summer evenings. Not fancy, but if your tastes are simple and you want an affordable base from which to explore the area, this is the place for you. โ

โFirst visit here and very pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 7pm and immediately you could feel it had a very good ambience. It was busy with most people enjoying an eveing meal. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We hadn't booked a table for our evening meal as we weren't sure of our plans when booking the room. โAn impressive looking property especially at night. The Concierge staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a good feel with lifts to both floors if required. The rooms are well appointed, modern and everything works well. The double shower was perfect. The spa is something else. โThe property is an 18th century coach house so donโt expect brand new anything, that being said the place is full of character, but the most important part of this inn are the excellent staff, mostly Maureen (Mo) and Gracie. They were superbly professional yet warm and welcoming and made our 2 day stay a pleasure. The food was excellent (well done Becca) with a great choice. The room was spotless and clean as was the bathroom, would definitely go back and probably will. Well done all.โ
โOur first time at the Blue Bell, but wonโt be our last! Really comfortable beds and pillows in a nice room with a lovely new bathroom. Food was excellent and all the staff, from Keith , the landlord, down, are friendly, kind and helpful, and all were happy in their jobs. We will be back! โ
