“Delightful stay with incredibly friendly & willing staff,nothing was too much trouble. A mixture of old and new & my room(in the garden block) was spacious,modern & a lovely view from the patio over the cricket pitch & down to the Tyne. Food was very good,I ate in the bar but you can go more formal if you want.
Hotel is in an enviable position,just outside Bellingham so access to roads easy. Even an indoor pool. If you like comfort,without formality,I would highly recommend.”
“A beautiful cottage in a secluded area with lovely views of surrounding hills and forest. The photos dont do it justice, it is much bigger in reality. It is very well equipped, and beds very comfortable with spotless linen. Even in cold weather, the cottage has more than enough radiators and a very efficient log burner to keep you warm. Only down side would be the two single beds. Would have been nice to have had them pushed together as we were two sets of adults ”
“Despite the wet and windy conditions we really enjoyed our stay and managed to get around to our favourite spots. Steve & Julie provided a lovely starter pack to see us over the first 24 hours. Cottage is superb, with all the amenities you would expect at home. Would recommend it as a base to tour the countryside.”
