“This was our first stay here. The hotel is very pretty and clean. The free buffet breakfast was very good too. The staff was friendly. My only complaint is that our room had a “wet dog” smell. They said that they had deep cleaned it but it still smelled pretty bad. The rest of the hotel did not have that smell. It is a pet friendly hotel so I can understand that but other pet friendly hotels have a select number of rooms that a pet free areas for people choosing to stay there without pets....

“We stayed on New Year’s Day and the hotel was extremely busy, with only one front desk associate, Chea, assisting guests. She truly did her best to accommodate everyone and remained helpful and professional despite how hectic it was. Our room was perfect for my family. It was comfortable and exactly what we needed to relax and get a good night’s sleep after spending the evening in St. Augustine for Nights of Lights. Overall, a pleasant stay and we would return.”

“The Marker 8 Hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay in St Augustine. Friendly Staff, delicious breakfasts, and great appetizers at the 5 pm social hour. The close proximity of the hotel to the historic district made it easy to enjoy the Nights of Lights on foot.”

“I ve travelled a lot, but Cedar House was absolutely the best stay that I ever had. The house, the atmosphere, the staff were absolutely perfect. We have been welcomed and not only we got fresh baked cookies, but all the hints to visit the city. The house is a masterpiece. The porch, the terraces and the interior were amazing. Everything super clean and new. I definitely recommend Cedar House and we would definitely come back one day! ”

“My husband and I travelled from NS, Canada. We were pleasantly surprised with how friendly the staff were, how beautiful the view was, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. Morning coffee on the dock was soothing and happy hour was so welcoming. Our room was clean and spacious and the Inn was quiet and safe.
