โHusband and I have stayed in various B&Bs in St. Augustine. This was our first stay with Carriage Way but it will return.
Our room was in the Centennial House across the street but didn't seem neglected at all.
Though we do not drink wine, to see it along with soda and bottled water offered freely was unexpected.
We did not take advantage of the provided games nor the dining table but did enjoy morning coffee on the sun porch before strolling around town.

โWhat's not to like about this property? It's close to the Lightner Museum and the hop-on hop-off trolley, making getting to all the popular attractions a breeze. The Victorian style of this Inn is a tribute to the past, with modern touches. And the STAFF. Second to none. Shasha made our stay memorable with her hospitality. I can't say enough about Cedar House Inn. Highly recommend it. โ
โStaff very helpful with recommendations about things to do and places to eat. Hotel restaurant was great for breakfast. Valet is very convenient mโ
โFrom start to finish, Edgewater Inn was a delight to stay ar. The staff was pleasant and were always ready to assist in any way to make our stay more comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the daily Happy Hour was a great way to wind down the day. The Inn is within walking distance of all main attractions in historic St Augustine and the view of the city and the river from the rooms cannot be beat.โ
โThis was a great value for the space, loved the room, only complaints are the โgarden viewโ was the landscaping in the parking lot and the shower floor was extremely slippery when it was wet. Nice girl at the front desk tooโ
โWe had a wonderful stay! The accommodations were very comfortable and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and always eager to assist in anyway. The grounds were beautiful old brick walks with gardens and fountains. The atmosphere of the property was very restful and soothing.โ
โFantastic, authentic property. Pat made us feel welcome from the first minute. Cookies and wine, fantastic gourmet breakfast and lovely pool. Spacious room in a gorgeous period property. Comfortable walking distance to local sites. Really couldnโt ask for more. Weโll certainly remember this stay for a long time!โ
โTotally delighted with our two night stay here. 5 stars to the staff, the atmosphere of this historic property, comfort, and breakfast experience. The porches and complimentary wine, brandy, and snacks offered a perfect respite in the afternoon after a day of exploring the sights and shopping in the historic district of the city. The location made everything walkable and the free parking was a plus. Don't think twice....book!โ
