“We enjoyed our stay but ran into a few bothersome things. We arrived over an hour after check in time & our room wasn’t ready. There was no apology, just a “give it another 10 minutes”. And when we inquired about the meeting place for a kayak tour we scheduled, front desk staff was rude. They explained the kayak tour was not connected to them even though the meeting place was at their property. They could’ve politely just pointed us in the right direction. They can deal with the kayak tour owner...

“This is an old, grand hotel that is just hanging on! First, the positives. We had a lakeside suite with beautiful views of the marina and the sunset. The shower was great! Breakfast offered some protein & fruit options. Unfortunately, the guest room was dated with old kitchen appliances and cabinets. We would've appreciated more space in the bathroom than in the suite itself (the door couldn't swing open/closed if someone was sitting on the toilet and there was only room for one guest at a time...
