"Had an amazing, relaxing week at the Mirage. The staff made it truly special. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We were able to relax but there was also plenty of fun activities to enjoy when we felt more lively. "

"Pools were very nice I did not use the SPA they told me I get credit but then I was told I wasn’t staying 6 days so I won’t get free SPA. The staff were nice except our concierge her name was Naila she didn’t do anything. "

"Resort looks glamorous but you’ll find out soon that there’s no sound proofing in between each suite. And you wake up at 2 am in the morning with the sound of your neighbors coming home from their party, or at 5am to the sound of people waking up for their early flight. Or at 8 am with people having casual conversations in the covered walkway. You head to the buffet and there’s lots of food selection, most of them, not labeled, so you choose only what you are familiar with. You approach the server for cutlery coz no one is approaching you and pull out your language translation app because they’re trying to talk to you in Spanish and you couldn’t understand. The only good service I had was when I gave tip at the start of my meal. The fountain pop at the buffet tastes like chlorine. The Santa Fe took about an hour to get 2 pieces of steak served. The Coral we had to walk out after waiting for 20 minutes and no server to take our order. The Kyoto, we didn’t attend because there was a line up of 12 people ahead of us. Pool is cold! The only things I liked about this resort are the interior design, the room cleaners and minibar stockers, the presence of indoor shops, the strykers bar, the italian restaurant, the calm water at the beach, the turtles, on site pharmacy, pirates water park, the shuttle train and expensive golf. Everything else is SUB PAR including both buffets and some of the restaurants, check in, night shows, driving range and most especially service :("

"Overpriced, the staff hardly speaks English, everyone wants a tip for every little thing, and you get tricked into a 90 minute timeshare speech. I thought I was getting a free cabana for a day because they switched rooms on us when we got there, but no, the free cabana was only if you went through the 90 minute timeshare speech. They try to get you at every turn. The food was average to bad, especially the buffet. We were supposed to get the Presidential One suite, but of course, it wasn’t available….even though we booked it 6 months in advance. Just terrible service. They make you wait and wait for a supervisor, just to tell you the same nonsense the regular staff tells you. It’s not worth the price or the headache going to the Royalton Bavaro. I do not recommend at all."

"La comida es demasiado buena y hay variedad, la verdad me gustó todo desde el lugar en general , la piscina , el spa , la playa es preciosa y limpia. Lo que mas me gustó es el staff , en especial Any Liriano que fue quien nos atendio desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos nos dio un excelente trato."

"Beach was great, Expedia’s booked room was for ocean view, property does not have ocean view. Housekeeping keeps forgetting towels. Room smelled like heavy bug spray upon arrival. Front desk did not respond at night. Lack of music around pool. Lack of communication for activities. Food was good, not authentic."
