โA magnificent hรดtel in stunning grounds . We stayed for a wedding which was impeccably arranged. A truly beautiful place to stay with genuinely friendly and helpful staff. โ
โAll hotel staff professional, friendly and helpful.
Receptionist provided us with a good discount on local attractions, maps and an easier alternative drive.
Restaurant offer varied and chef is creative โ
โFriendliest staff Iโve ever met at a hotel had to move rooms due to noisy air conditioning units outside our window but accommodated us no problem couldnโt do enough for you definitely will go back thanks for a great weekend โ
โLovely pub/hotel. Very friendly. We didn't opt for breakfast, just by our choice. Only problem is the regulars told us there is no where around to grab food other than orderโ
โBooked on the spur of the moment.
Excellent price. Fabulous clean room.
Large bathroom with corner bath and powerful shower. Lots of hot water, clean white fluffy towels. We upgraded to King size bed, patio doors to outside decked veranda. Fabulous in the warm weather.
Next door to the pub and restaurant.
Excellent food, good menu both evening meal and breakfast.
Couples only at the moment.
Well worth it. Would definitely stay again.

โWe stayed here for one night to attend a concert, bargain price for what was offered. Easy 20 mins into Newcastle town centre, super friendly staff, comfy bed, one of the best showers I've had in a hotel and fantastic breakfast! Thank you for a lovely stay.โ
โNot great for EV drivers as when you take the car to charge, you cannot return to the hotel to park. And the cleanliness in the bathroom prevented me from bathing my 3 year old.โ
โOur stay at Burnhopeside Hall was one of our most memorable ever. Christine, our hostess, was delightful and helpful. The room was spacious and the surroundings could not have been more grand. This is a stately old home, full of beautiful furniture and dishes, near sheep pastures and the river. While there, we walked the yard and fields behind the house, went down to the river, accompanied by Barney and Spencer (the Burnhopeside dogs!). Breakfast was delicious and elegantly presented. This was a...

โThis is an excellent, value for money budget hotel. Most facilities are at par with what you would expect from a budget hotel but most outstanding feature is its very helpful staff. Adam is a star. He went above and beyond with anything we needed help with. All other staff we interacted with - Sumit, Helen, Caroline - were all very kind and helpful. Kudos to the management for hiring such awesome people.
The next door pub waggon team is also an asset, good food at reasonable prices.

โYou most certainly receive value for your pound here! The rooms are immaculate and the rain showers in the washrooms are amazing!! This is our 3rd stay here!โ
โA lovely hotel with a few surprises. The grounds were magnificent. We had a castle room which from a historical point of view was wonderful. The wardrobe was a bonus! โ
โI was very happy staying at The Grainger Hotel again.
Incidentally i have stayed at The Grainger Hotel on numerous occasions.
If i need to be in Newcastle not far from Town i always choose The Grainger Hotel as i know it makes perfect sense to do so.
The single room with en-suite was immaculate & well presented.
The bed was very comfortable & i slept well.
The amenities provided at the Grainger Hotel are very good in my view.
The Grainger Hotel provides me with great value for my money & is a...
