โHave just returned from a wonderful break at the Black Horse.
The surroundings are idyllic with lavender fields, apple and plum trees as well as all the beaitiful plants
Everywhere is immaculately maintained from the grounds to the restaurant and cottages.
The staff were so kind and helpful .
Would return in a heartbeat.

โLovely pub/hotel. Very friendly. We didn't opt for breakfast, just by our choice. Only problem is the regulars told us there is no where around to grab food other than orderโ
โFriendliest staff Iโve ever met at a hotel had to move rooms due to noisy air conditioning units outside our window but accommodated us no problem couldnโt do enough for you definitely will go back thanks for a great weekend โ

Bed was huge and comfortable.
Staff were fab - very helpful.
Only downside is no door between the bathroom and bedroom - so very little privacy. โ
โOverall everything was good, our only issue was after being there for a few days we noticed the toaster was full of crumbs, obviously not been emptied for quite some time, and the oven tray had not been cleaned after it had been used. We hadnโt met the owner, so decided it was easier just to clean them both before using them.
On the hole, everything else was excellent.
There was no recycling facilities, which was quite a surprise, and also a slight disappointment. Everything else was above...
โFab little apartment. Really clean and ideal for a 3 night stay while my daughter was having surgery in the RVI - ideal location too.
Really friendly staff too.

Hotel in centrum van de stad.
Bij een probleem met parkeren werden we uiterst vriendelijk geholpen. Geduldig personeel wat echt probeert mee te denken.

โNot great for EV drivers as when you take the car to charge, you cannot return to the hotel to park. And the cleanliness in the bathroom prevented me from bathing my 3 year old.โ
โSet in lovely countryside views, owners & staff all veey friendly & helpful, fabulous choice of breakfasts, meals available during evening also with a varied menu including gluten free. No hesitation in recommending The Royal Oak for any length of stay, wish we could have stayed for longer!!!!โ
โI always have a great stay at the Maldron. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, down to the little robot who politely asks you to make room in the lift. No I'm not joking...โ
