"Loved it we will be back"

Hotel Tropicana - Near Olas Altas Street

"Paid for two superior rooms and instead got two standard rooms. The room was quite dirty, stained and our bathroom shower was plugged. Also, no mini fridge for your drinks or microwave for food in the room. Prices at the bar were in our opinion highly over priced and low quality food. Check in process took about 30 min. We left our do not disturb card on door but staff still came in regardless. Will not go to this place again. "

"On two nights we couldn't get dinner because reservations at all 5 restaurants were full. The only reservation was for 8:45 pm and it was 10 pm, and if you go early they don't accept reservations because it's too early. Reservations are only accepted for 7 pm. The elevators are dirty and smell very bad, and other people complained about the bad smell and the poor organization of the restaurants.👎👎👎👎👎"

"The room was clean and housekeeping would clean up very nicely. The staff were so friendly, helpful and nice. The staff from the restaurant sal & pimienta (Claudia, Linda and Rhenata) did an amazing job. A shout out to the Japanese restaurant staff too for making my birthday so memorable. Thanks to Paquel, Carlos and the rest of the staff for an amazing time. The reception staff made my check in and checked out so well. The poolside always clean 👌 I love this hotel and would recommend it."

"The hotel appears to be understaffed and unprepared for the number of guests it accommodates. The dining area is too small for the volume of people staying there, resulting in extremely long lines. We had to wait nearly two hours just to be seated at the buffet. Customer service was also disappointing. Staff members were often rude and seemed bothered when guests asked for assistance, making it difficult to get help when needed. The room conditions were uncomfortable as well. The air conditioning did not work properly, and the room temperature never dropped below 77°F, making it hard to relax or sleep comfortably."
