"I stayed here last year, but just for one night, and must have been upgraded, as it was quite a large room. But the downside was that it was at the fornt of the hotel, on Vivian Street, and sadly quite noisy.
This time, I was here for a week, in a basic room. And I was more than happy with it. Although not a lot of room to snack and store clothes, it was immaculately clean and modern - and most importantly of all, quiet. The only downside was that being on Level 1, it had the carpark right behind it, so you would get some occasional noise.
But so cozy and relaxing.
Can't really rate the hotel too much on it's facilities, as they are vey basic, but what they have is fine, and the hotel is extremely clean.
If you utilise the hotel's limited overnight parking, it can be a bit pricey, but that's Wellington. Street parking is available in the surrounding areas, but I would suggest downloading the PayMyPark app to make it easier. Overnight it's free, but at least with the app, you can buy parking from your phone without having to go out to your car.
It's in a great location, with an easy walk to many great restaurants, bars, and cafes nearby. A few shady characters around, but just stick to the main streets, and you'll be fine.
Will always stay here in Wellington when I'm in town. Really like this place."
