“Very friendly staff; very welcoming at check in and were helpful when we asked to leave our cases/bags after check out. The room was clean (3rd floor) and had everything we needed. The bathroom was a tad dated but obviously due to the age of the hotel. We stayed mid week so no problems with noise etc. The hotel is ideally sited within 2 min walk from the station. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“As always the room and linens where spotless. The room, spotless, the staff absolutely lovely. Always so welcoming and friendly. The only surprise was that this year i had to pay £5 for parking! A little disappointing seeing as the car park is within the hotel grounds?”

“Very comfy room, with a hot shower. Nicely decorated with lots of lamps providing pleasant lighting, with armchairs to loll in and read. Quite a grand building, with interesting decor throughout; paperback books in shelves. Breakfast was very good too.”

“We had a really nice stay. Food very good. Staff very friendly. The only thing psrking st ti.es was very busy with people parking for thr gym. My hubby has poor mobility and hotel guests using didable bays. We had to park right over the other side of the car park. Other than that a lovely stay”
