“We stayed a few years ago and it has massively improved since then. We tried to ring to book a parking space but struggled to get an answer however there was space when we arrived. It is in a great location. We will definitely go back.”

“Such a lovely traditional pub with good accommodation, situated in a pretty rural setting, a short drive away from Pickering. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. My husband and I had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent, as was breakfast the following morning. Pet friendly. Would definitely recommend the Horseshoe Inn.”

Unfortunately unable to access the restaurant for dinner as fully booked, but breakfast was delicious and well presented. Will definitely return.”

“One of the worst night sleep ever. The rooms were far too hot and there was no air conditioning. The only way to cool down the room was to open the window however that meant you had to listen to the entire population of seabirds in Scarborough screaming each other all night long. Lightstreamed under the crack of the door and illuminated the bedroom from the hallway. Someone left their dog in a room opposite which barked incessantly for at least an hour scraping at the door. I wouldn't recommend...

“We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again.”

“The bedroom & en suite were very tastefully decorated, with the decor exactly to our taste! The Bella Rose coffee shop was used throughout our stay & the staff were very welcoming & accommodating. The 15% discount was used each time we ate there which was a bonus as thought it might be a one-off. Peasholm Park on the doorstep was a huge plus too! My only criticism of our stay was that I made the owners aware that I was allergic to fur & feathers beforehand & I particularly queried any cushions...
