โOur hotel room was very nice and the food options are great here. We had all our meals {late lunch, evening appetizers and drinks at the bar, and breakfast) at the FLYT Steakhouse and nothing disappointed.โ
โStayed here in the past. Came early to get parking under cover before it filled up. Did not stay for the breakfast as it was an added cost. Canโt rate it since we didnโt access it. Right in downtown Deadwood.โ
โItโs suppose to be haunted..thankfully we didnโt experience anything lol..although there was a bad storm that came through & the electric went out @ midnight. That was an experience to add to our story. Room was very nice sized with added antiques which I love. โ
โThe morning breakfast needs to be better. There was a waffle maker, auto pancake maker and toast & juice and a couple cereal choices.
It definitely needs some fruit choices, scrambled or hard boiled eggs would be nice. Maybe some type of donuts or pastry. Otherwise, satisfied with the hotel.โ
โExcellent location, but noisy. Street noise, noisy garbage trucks and delivery trucks most mornings around 6:00 am. Rooms A/C wasnโt working so they had a portable A/C that worked but was taking up a bit of room. A sewer smell from the tub drain. Most mornings they ran out of food and or coffee.
Staff was good and great location for day and night life.โ
โThe Rocksino in Deadwood, South Dakota is hands-down one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at before. The staff was phenomenal and very friendly. We were even upgraded to a two bedroom suite that was very nicely decorated and spacious. The hotel was completely renovated but still had the historic vibe and feel from the original building. The bedding was super comfortable and the shower was amazing. I would highly recommend anyone traveling to South Dakota to make a stop in Deadwood just to...
