This resort deserves 0 stars. Expedia should not even have it listed on their site. It is an unsafe hotelโmold on the walls, broken
Stuff, including bed, dirty bathrooms and bedrooms, old furniture, and humidity everywhere. Itโs unsafe for everyone, especially for people with any lung condition. Please do not stay here.
I booked through Expedia and selected โchildโ for my 13-year-old daughter. When I arrived at the hotel, they made me pay over $400 extra because they consider a 13-year-old an adult. This extra fee is not mentioned on the Expedia app at the time of booking. The hotel claims itโs part of their policy, but the fee and age rule are not mentioned in the policy they send after booking either.
According to the hotel, guests aged 13 and older are considered adults only need to pay extra at the hotel. They are still not allowed in the jacuzzi area, not allowed to have their own room key, and treated as minors for everything else. Except for charging.
Check-in is listed as 3 PM, but my room wasnโt ready until 4 PM, and my luggage didnโt arrive until 45 minutes later.
I do not recommend this hotel. Itโs the worst I have ever stayed in, and I will not be coming back.
Expedia and the hotel need to clarify all extra fees and update their policy descriptions. I escalated this issue with Expedia, but of course, they sided with the hotel.
And for the hotel, please update your room photos, so everyone that will be booking have an idea of what to expect.
