"Booked this as a last minute decision to shorten our time in Milan (and fine a place close to Florence on our way to Montepulciano) We only stayed one night, but wish it had been longer. If you are looking for informal luxury, you will find it at this idyllic Tuscan Estate. They are still expanding their amenities to include a gym, tennis court, and Spa (planned for a 2027 open) what they DO offer is a quiet, thoughtful experience. The room was perfection and the restaurant on the property - delicious. There were a few artists there taking advantage of the atelier, or painting on the property. The estate is located an hour’s drive outside of Florence and is well worth the trip if you are looking for a place to relax. We hope to return with more time to enjoy it."

The food at the restaurant is delicious and the breakfast buffet is plentiful with a ton of variety that will suit everyone’s pallet. The staff is very helpful and wonderful and will go above and beyond to make your stay very welcomed and comfortable. They accommodated us even when we were checking out and stored our luggage while we waited to check into our new destination. We were even given little goodie bags. Our room was comfortable and very clean. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. I would highly recommend."

We had not rented a car, and they went above and beyond to assist us with getting around and enjoying events planned on site. Everything felt luxurious, and my partner and I felt more relaxed than we have on any other holiday this year! Recommend to any couple looking for a quiet, romantic trip!"

"I’m not even sure where to start with this incredible property. It’s an absolute oasis in the heart of Chianti wine region. Theres an extremely well kept pool that overlooks the rolling hills of wineries. The staff are amazing, so accommodating, and predict your every need. The rooms are great and clean and perfect for a couple traveling to wine region. If you aren’t driving yourself, make sure to reach out to the hotel ahead of time to book any car services — transfers within the region are hard to come by but the hotel staff will be more than happy to help with enough lead time. Grazie mille for the wonderful stay! We will be staying here every time we are in the region!"

"We loved this hotel. We were in the area for a sporting event and it was the perfect location for us. The hotel was gorgeous, authentic and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was really good with an amazing selection of cakes, pastries, fruit, cold meats and hot items. The staff were lovely and very helpful and the whole place just had a nice feel to it. Lighting in a bathroom is really important to me and the room we had was perfect. I wish we could have stayed there longer but they were fully booked. Due to that we moved to their sister hotel the Palazzo San Lorenzo for our last 3 nights and unfortunately it just didn’t have the same feel to it. The pool area at the Relais Della Rovere is lovely and very relaxing. It’s great they have a pool bar also. The demographic is very mixed, whereas the Palazzo San Lorenzo is more of an older coach trip crowd. I would definitely stay at the Relais Della Rovere again and recommend it as a good base to explore the surrounding areas and to chill and relax in between."
