Hotel Manoir Victoria

"We were extremely happy with our stay at the Hotel Manoir Victoria. It was our first visit to Old Quebec City and as seniors, we were concerned about the ease in getting to the hotel, parking and its proximity to sites. Manoir Victoria checked all those boxes. It’s a short drive from the highway and the valet parking garage is right next to the hotel. (Note: The garage is BEFORE the hotel.) There is a flight of stairs to the hotel lobby but assistance with bags is available, upon request. The staff at the reception desk is bilingual and most welcoming, courteous and helpful. We needed to take the elevators to our room and they could be busy and slow. Our room was very nice-spacious, clean and appeared newly renovated. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a “view” of an alley (which didn’t bother us) so we had no street noise. The AC worked too well (lol) as the room often got quite cold so we had to adjust it frequently to regulate the temperature to our liking. At times, we also heard some running water noises (shower? toilet?) through the walls but these were infrequent and not really bothersome. These were the only minor issues encountered with our room. The location of the hotel is perfect! We were able to easily walk to mostly everything we wanted to see as well as the innumerable shops and restaurants. We also purchased a Hop On/Off bus tour at the front desk and found that to be very informative and useful in accessing areas in the Old City. Wonderful Hotel!"

"Great location for Old Quebec City. Onsite parking was a bonus and the staff were great. The only thing that let it down was room cleaning… We were there for 3 nights and the only thing done was make the beds and change towels that didn’t need changing as we didn’t put them in the bath. Maybe that’s the hotel policy for a short stay? The room and bathroom were also small so possibly not easy to clean around our stuff? We did have a dog friendly room which was great, but may account for the smaller size… Also, if you book through a third party and need a dog friendly room, make sure you call the hotel to let them know as the room we originally booked did not take dogs. Anyway, we would still recommend staying here and if we go back to Quebec, we would definitely chose this hotel!"

"The property is colorful, clean and well maintained with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was very good. We ate at the Bijou restaurant twice because it was amazing and we wanted to try as many dishes as possible."

The room was a little dated and in need of a few minor repairs (a loose floorboard, peeling paint) but overall met expectations with good value."

"Perfect location, right in the middle of the old city and next to the beautiful Frontenac Hotel. With the boardwalk overlooking the St Lawrence River. The hotel room was small, but I new that going in. The bed was way too soft for my liking and there was a lot of noise that sounded like tables and chairs being moved around when we were trying to go to sleep. There was a great little of coffee maker in the room, and cream in the mini fridge that was nice. The restaurant downstairs had fabulous food. We dinned there for dinner and breakfast, both times it was good."

"A fantastic choice for us in visiting beautiful Quebec City. We walked everywhere due to this hotels PERFECT location. Staff warmly greeted us, offered help with the bags and parking. Room was quaint and well appointed. There was a little noise in room above with hearing their footsteps, but we were so tired at the end of the day, it wasn’t a big deal. And best of all was their lovely breakfast. Excellent food and amazing coffee to start the day! Would stay here again in a heartbeat."
