"Amazing stay! Really an oasis in the jungle. We both slept very well and spent hours relaxing in the hammocks reading and listening to the jungle sounds. "This was our fourth stay at this resort, and it continues to exceed our expectations every single time. We travel with our two kids—a one-year-old and a six-year-old—and we truly believe this is the perfect resort for families. My family has been traveling to Cancun for the past 10 years, staying at a variety of different resorts, and this one is, without a doubt, our favorite. The family-friendly atmosphere, activities for the kids, and overall experience keep bringing us back year after year. At this point, we’ve found our go-to resort in Cancun. We can’t wait to come back again!"

El Dorado Royale, All & More Inclusive Adults Only

"My wife and I stayed at El Dorado Royale for 7 days in July and had a fantastic vacation. The resort was only about 30% full, so there were no food lines and restaurant reservations were easy to get. The overall vibe was relaxed, with mostly couples in their 30s to 50s. Our More Inclusive™ package included seamless airport transfers, Maroma Beach access, and extra activities. We highly recommend a swim-up room—it was one of the highlights of our trip. The pools were beautiful, with swim-up bars, live music, games, and even a foam party. The only downside was that pool chairs filled up early with towels, but Maroma Beach always had plenty of loungers. The food was outstanding, and 24-hour room service was perfect before early excursions. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The beach at the resort was unusable due to seaweed, but Maroma Beach more than made up for it with excellent snorkeling, sea turtles, stingrays, and plenty of lounge chairs. Our favorite excursion was Río Secreto, followed by Cobá. We also treated ourselves to a beachfront couples massage at the spa. It was expensive, but listening to the ocean while getting a massage made it worth every penny. Our only real complaint was that the bed wasn't very comfortable, although the massage certainly helped afterward! Skip the Vacation Club presentation unless you're interested. This is an excellent adults-only resort for couples looking to relax, enjoy amazing food, and unwind. We'd definitely return."

Alma Maya Resort – Riviera Maya

"The road to the resort was not paved at all (dirt road with tons of potholes, an SUV or bigger vehicle is a must), it was remote, no cell reception (download an offline map), surrounded by jungle. We had fun driving through. The property was nice, peaceful and surrounded by nature. There is no cell reception but there is a wifi. The room that we stayed in was the comfort room. It was clean and comfortable. There was a musty smell at first but we aired the room out and it was fine after. I think the room needs proper ventilation. The whole staff were super friendly, accomodating and welcoming. We had the pleasure to meet Jason (all around guy - concierge, manager, chef), Robert and Papa Oso. They took good care of us. The housekeeper although we didn’t personally meet her, she did a very good job at tidying up our room every day. There menu option was limited but the food was delicious all the time. We even had a bon fire after dinner with marshmallows to eat😁. We’re satisfied overall. Service was great. The resort has a lot of potential for more activity options aside from what they already offer - e.g. ATV tours around the area, cooking class, wildlife watching, stargazing, etc. We will be back! "
