"Our room was in the back of the property. It was quiet with no road noise from the highway. We had the king size room with jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower. It was very comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy. Free parking was a very nice touch for that area. The property was a 10 minute walk to a beach area, 15 minute walk to some trails up in the trees and only a few minutes from the stateline. I have no complaints. Was worth our price."

"The mini king suite was like a little one bedroom apt. Had a gas stone fireplace and a very large patio, too. Like others have commented, could use some refurbishing, but was clean and comfortable for our two-night stay. Worked out very well for the two of us and our small dog."
Yosemite Southgate Hotel & Suites

"Room was clean and the property was in good shape. The room had everything I needed. I didn’t interact with the staff too much since I spent most of my time in Yosemite hiking. There was plenty of food places nearby and grocery stores and seems like a nice area. Only reason I didn’t give it full stars is the breakfast was kind of lackluster. I stayed the other hotels and most of them have more to offer. The sausage and eggs was not great. Kind of wish they had potatoes, bagels, waffles or something more."

"I liked that you had breakfast vouchers that you could pay ahead of stay. I was unhappy with some service request. But was very pleased of the excellent service of moving us to different room when we had problem with water flow in bathroom."

"This hotel exceeded our expectations and we wish we were able to stay longer. The lack of self parking was the only bug bare as we had to wait for the valet to bring our car round when we were running late, but that’s more on us than the hotel. If we were to return to Lake Tahoe we would definitely rebook here again."

"QR of tip should not be in the room, the room is not serviced daily. There is nothing in the room to inform guests that room will be not serviced unless a request is asked. It means if the complimentary coffee or tea are consumed. The guest has to request each time. Tipping is out of control, it seems to be entitlements these days."
