"Great hotel. Had a nice upgrade. The room had a comfy bed and was very clean. There was an ac unit in the bedroom which helped cool the room down. The only thing was the shower pressure was very low and cut out a couple of times. "

"The Seven Hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Chester. This boutique property offers a limited number of stylish rooms and apartments, giving it an intimate, personal feel. Tucked quietly within a modern residential complex, it’s easy to miss from the street—but that’s part of its charm. Once you arrive, you’ll find yourself perfectly positioned between the historic city walls and the racecourse on one side, and the vibrant city centre on the other.
I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a spacious two-bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen that was absolutely immaculate. The furnishings were modern, the bed extremely comfortable, and the overall atmosphere calm and welcoming. It felt like having my own private apartment right in the centre of town.
The staff were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to help with directions or recommendations. They clearly take pride in the hotel and in making guests feel at home.
What I loved most was the balance: just a few minutes’ walk from Chester’s shops, pubs, and restaurants, yet peacefully quiet once you return for the night. Whether you’re visiting for sightseeing, shopping, or the races, The Seven Hotel provides a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and tranquility. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with a touch of boutique charm."

"Staff were lovely throughout. No problems at all with the Hotel and it is really, really convenient for seeing Chester - our first time of visiting and we really enjoyed it. Used the train to get there and Uber to get around and it was all so easy. Would certainly like to go to Chester again and would definitely use the same hotel. PS Go to Chez Jules for a nice evening out."
