“The room was clean and very compact, it lacked appeal but had most of the amenities you would want at this price. There is no interaction with staff at all as self check in, the heating wasn’t on although the radiator in the hall was hot, one curtain hardly covered the window, my room,2, was at the front of the property so people leaving the pub were talking loudly at 11.30/12pm and then again at 1am which woke me up, the shower was good, the wash basin so tiny you couldn’t get the tiny kettle...

“I will start with a positive! Staff friendly and accommodating. That is the only positive I have to say about this hotel. Rooms leave a lot to be desired, very run down and would benefit from a good clean. We moved rooms 3 times before we made the decision to stay - wish I had stuck with my gut and left straight away. Restaurant and bar area needs a good clean just as much as rooms. I can safely say I won’t be back and certainly would not recommend this place. ”

Our room was ok but not as clean as it should have been, only 1 set of towels on arrival, shower gel was empty. All got resolved though as soon as I requested. We hung up our towels to re-use but they were changed each day. Free bottled water provided each day and good tea and coffee set up. Bed was comfortable.
