“Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful for the late night/early morning access route for when the pub is closed. The room was looking a bit tired, particularly the bathroom. There were knocks in the walls that needed filling, the bag that had a bathmat in looked stained, there were toothpaste splatter marks on the wall, and there were cobwebs around the window. “We had a lovely stay in the downstairs large room, waking up to the view was a treat with lots of hills & countryside. Our host was great, very friendly, chatty & helpful. If you want a rustic, ramshackle, different type of stop over but with a beautiful setting this is it. A very characterful place all round. You can't help but take it for what it is 😄”

“The room is well-decorated. And the host is kind. But the room was little noisy. My room was outdoor A/C unit view. I was surrounded by them. So that machines made a lot of noise. There is no E/V.... and the stairs ate complicated. If you have big luggage, you should think again to stay here. And one more thing, bathroom floor was not clean and was slippery though I didn't spoiled anything.”

“Clean room. Nice quirky hotel/guest house. Good location. Helpful friendly staff on arrival. No front desk but WhatsApp contact details given. Air conditioning unit very noisy and cannot use without the window open. Good for a stay in the cooler weather out of season but wouldn’t recommend for the weather we are currently having. Ear plugs were supplied by the hotel but I don’t find them comfortable to wear to sleep. I would definitely stay again just not in August.”
