โOn arrival we were given a deluxe room which smelled damp and looked out onto a flat roof and pipes. We were moved to a modern upgraded room. Staff handled it all brilliantly. Food dinner. Formerly helpful staff. Near Gatwick. โ
โRooms were comfortable. Bathroom well thought out. Nice sized basin, good sized shower with somewhere to put your toiletries. All staff very friendly and helpful. Hallways were very clean well vacuumed. Good amount of parking which was free always good. Only one thing I didn't like was the pillows, too small and not that comfy every thing else was brilliant would stay again good value for money it was cheaper than the premier Inn further down the road and a nicer hotel. โ

โOur room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing weโve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. โMy husband & I had to travel from the other end of the country to visit an elderly relative in the nearby hospital, and needed a reasonably-priced last-minute room for 2 nights. This fitted the bill perfectly, and I knew we'd made the right choice when I spoke to the Manager. What a lovely guy: friendly, honest, helpful, straightforward, and so easy to deal with. Many hotel managers could take a lesson from him.
