“Room was very dirty. Pillows had stains on them. The carpet had stains and the walls were peeling and had stains. The silicon around the sink and shower was dirty and had mildew. Dead flies on the window sills. Drawer inside the bathroom was laying on the floor. Rising damp on the bathroom ceiling and the bathroom fan was dusty. Grotty room overall. Breakfast was nice and the staff were nice and friendly.”

“The family room was on the 3rd floor with two windows which were in poor condition. Only one was safe to open. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was very good as was the restaurant where we had dinner one evening. Staff were always very helpful and polite.”

“The property is old and quirky, our room was spacious with many pictures and ornaments in the room, the cleaning/housekeeping team need to be more thorough with cleaning of picture frames, lights and fittings as there were big cobwebs hanging from picture and ceiling. The staff were excellent and very helpful. We would go back to the hotel again.”

Es war sehr sauber und besser als andere Häuser mit vergleichbaren Preisen, die ich gesehen habe. Gern würde ich wieder kommen. Ich habe im Haus gefrühstückt und war auch damit sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und wirklich freundlich, nicht nur professionell höflich.”

“overall the accommodation and staff were good and the grounds and location was very pleasant. However, on the Saturday evening we arrived back to the room at 8.30 pm to find in the garden a bbq, loads of people and very very loud music. We could not sleep, read or listen to the Tv and the music stopped at 11:59. Really spoiled our stay”

“This property has a great location, at a reasonable price. My room was at the very top of the house, in the eves, so a sloping ceiling. It has an en suite shower room. Room was clean but could do with an update. Good coffee/tea making facilities with kettle, microwave and mini fridge, as well as lots of snacks provided.”
