“The staff were nice but the property needs attention. My bathroom was modish a towel bar, had a sagging shower curtain bar, and had no holder for the shower head - I had to hold it the entire time. There was also no light above the shower, making it very dark. I was only there for one night, or I would have requested another room. Or possibly left altogether. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special. I would not stay there again. ”

“The property was very welcoming to myself, my wife, and our dog! Methodical Coffee onsite in the lobby was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend the Outpost Inn to anyone looking for a great place in Highlands!”

“Was very very disappointed. I had a reservation for Saturday night. I called on Thursday night to cancel due to a family issue that was last minute. I was told they would cancel the reservation but had to charge me the nightly rate because it was too late. I said theres nothing you can do, they told me it was property policy no exceptions. This is the epitome of corporate greed, and shows why the world is in the shape its in. I personally will never stay at another Hampton Inn or Hilton...

“This is a nicely kept property in the heart of town. Underground or street parking is available and the staf extremely welcoming, particularly to our dog. The rooms are set up with a dog bed and bowls and if you are in doubt about how welcome they are, see the dog traets in reception. The only slight downside is that breakfast is linited to a very few items with not a piece of fruit in sight. We have stayed here more than once and all of the plusses more than make up for the breakfast. ”
