"This hotel was spic and span, with the most modern bathroom and furniture design. It is right near the boardwalk and the main fun streets Two slow things - Checking in took longer than average. What the heck are they writing down by hand? - If you opt for breakfast, it is made to order from a menu, and took 10+ minutes to receive. We were the only ones in the dining area at 6:45 a.m., I cannot imagine if there are 3 families and 2 couples all wanting to eat at the same time. For $9, it was a decent price for a breakfast and coffee/tea Parking was reasonable at $9/night"

"Ive stayed here before while visiting friends in Nanaimo. I love the fact that its pet friendly. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. There is such a lovely view of the lake you feel like you're on vacation."
