“Great room, lovely staff and excellent food.”

“Good”

“We had a great stay. Everything was perfect and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and communicative before we came up. We will definitely use again, next time we come up and stay!”

“My shower leaked so bathroom floor was wet all the time. There was mould in the shower .no Fridge. There was litter left in one corner of the room . Breakfast was pretty underwhelming but well staffed and managed. The bed was awful , lumpy and uncomfortable. Ill not be staying here again . It was cheap and I know why. “Nice grounds, friendly staff.”

“The property is a bit tired. It is cheap and convenient if traveling by train but £10 parking on top of the room is pricey. Rooms at the front are quite noisy as they are single glazed and the trains start at 6am.”

“Everything needed for a cosy, relaxing stay. Will book again.”

“Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village.”

“Excellent value for money, very spacious property suitable for up to four adults.”
