“The staff were truly amazing. Very polite and interacted with the guests always with good conversation, communication and a nice smile. It’s nice to see this in our younger generations.”

“The whole place needs a refurb. My bedroom could have done with a clean and the toilet actually needed flushing before I could use it. The stairs and corridors wer dusty in corners and one corridor had a peculiar smell. I know it was an old building but I’m sure even old buildings could have lifts installed and maybe ramps and here one or two steps are. Not good value for money and the breakfast certainly wasn’t. “The room was very clean with tea, coffee, milk and sugar provided. Not a great selection of teas but fine for us. The beds were comfortable and sheets clean and ironed. Small TV but that didn't bother us as we were out more than in. Good selection at breakfast with cereal, yoghurts, fruit juice. Very good cooked breakfast with several options. Tea and coffee served in your own pots. Staff really friendly.”

“The amazing 4 poster bed was beautiful. Food in the restaurant and bar was good and the location is very convenient. Be cautious with the very narrow entrance to the car park, a sharp turn off the busy road. Oddly my room locked on the outside but there was no keyhole inside so somebody could have locked me in, and I did not like that at all. Ask about your room when checking in.”
