“Great place to stay, but I'd recommend renting a car if staying at Bluebeard's. The hill is no joke, and nothing is as close a walk as it looks on Google maps. You can get pretty much anywhere on the island on 20 minutes, but be prepared from steep grades, hairpin turns, and skinny roads. Hotel itself has great views, and even offers a kitchenet (a pleasant surprise). Food at both bar/restaurants is very good, and the staff kicks ass. “Simple hotel, not fancy, even though it is in need of repair it was perfect for my family of 11. We reserved 4 rooms. Very clean, nice and comfortable beds. Very affordable, the beach was perfect, and the ferry was very reliable.”
