"Room i booked wasn’t available so the manager upgraded our room. Hotel is located close to the harbor, Quincey market, Boston commons & the Freedom Trail."
"I’ll start with the good: The location is great, especially for those interested in visiting historical sights. The free happy hour is a nice touch. The staff was very nice! Now for the bad: Our room was quite dingy, with stains and things that were broken or not working. We were also on the west side of the building, so were woken up at 5am each morning when the construction trucks motored in. We could hear everything happening in the hallway and elevator area, so sleep in general was not great for our family. Overall, I wish I had spent one or two hundred more for a nicer hotel."
"The hotel is paces away from Fanieul Hall and the wharf. So plenty of options on foot. It is also right by a blue line station, so easy to get to any other neighborhood. The room was clean and the bedding really comfortable. The lobby is a bit strange, long and narrow, with the other half dedicated to a pretty good restaurant. Just a bit awkward. So all in all, it is an OK place to stay, but not one to impress a wife or date."
"Myself and my husband felt uncomfortable by few of the staff. We were asked to verify ourselves and the validity of our stay. No idea the reason behind as I chose not to push the matter and Im not the to assume but the behavior was definitely off putting. Hotel itself was lovely. Nothing extraordinary."
"Beware! This hotel charges your credit card for phony ‘destination charge’ of a sizable amount (which I’m not allowed to specify) despite the fact you book and prepay, with all taxes and fees included, on an online booking site. This is theft. They swipe your card when you check in for a ‘security deposit,’ then charge your card for these extra amounts. Fraud!"
"Outstanding Boston hotel, and I have stayed in a lot of them. Remarkable staff that is friendly, welcoming, and goes the extra mile. From the front desk to the waiters and the valet team, this is a top notch crew. Modern property well kept. Wonderful pool and gym. The breakfast is not cheap but is first rate. The buffet on the weekends is the best I've seen. The room was well laid out and modern. Plenty of good charging ports and plugs. Great shower. Oh, and they have a "pillow library" where you can get different types of pillows, brought to your room. I got a memory foam/ gel pillow that was great.
The Seaport area has really come along, and this place is in the heart of it. The World Trade Silver Line is right next door. Highly recommended."
"The room was small for a deluxe but gorgeous and immaculately clean. Also, it was so quiet during the night, you could hear a pin drop. The bed was comfortable, even for someone like myself who needs a very firm mattress. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and welcoming, even if I simply passed them in the hallway. I didn't visit their restaurant or bar, so I honestly can't give a firsthand account on dining there. However, based on everything else, I would imagine that the menu and staff are quite thoughtful and professional. I stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it."
