“I travel a lot for work, and it was great to find this little hotel off the beaten track. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of space. I used the link in the booking confirmation to find the hotel without any trouble, but take care to follow the signs.”

“Room was very clean and comfortable. Never heard any noise from the bar downstairs. Breakfast was cooked to order so fresh and hot. All staff very friendly nothing was a problem for them. Bar patrons were friendly and welcoming”

“What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.”

“This was a lovely wee family-run hotel that is extremely well located for the University of Aberdeen and some of the historic sites in that area. I rented the single bedroom with ensuite toilet and shower, which was very good for solo-traveller. The bed was nice and comfy and the room had a small table and plenty of storage for clothes. “Everything about this experience was so unique and warm. It made our stay in Stonehaven so memorable! Everything is so clean. The room even came with a fan which my husband relies on at home. The kitchen is well equipped to cook your food if needed and the option to use the clothes washer was a huge bonus. Breakfast options were plenty and the coffee machine was exactly what I needed!”

“I booked the room for my colleague, she said, "the hotel is dodgy, quite dirty and a hostel with interesting characters, smells of weed and generally no safety… the breakfast was really bad and I was the only one there… it seems like it’s not a hotel that is actually used for tourism/business." “We had a really lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and helpful from check-in to departure, and the room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. The bed was especially comfortable, which made for a good night sleep. Breakfast had a good variety of options and everything was fresh and well presented.
