The rooms were lovely and roomy and perfectly clean.
There were meal options, you could eat in the dining room or have something simple in the bar area.
The city is only ten minutes away and the gardens and surrounding area are perfectly kept and make you feel like you are in the grounds of a stately home.

“Although only 10 minutes from Stonehaven it was ideally situated in the beautiful Kincardine countryside. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was whatever you wanted and the bonus for us was that the plum tree in the garden was groaning with fruit. Owner picked some delicious plums for us.

“Loved my stay at Ferryhill House. The staff was lovely, and the pub restaurant was great. Loved having a drink outside on their patio. I hadn’t realized breakfast was included which was a nice surprise. My room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was especially nice and up-to-date. I walked back to the hotel after dark from the bus station solo and felt perfectly safe. Just a note: It is an older hotel and there isn’t an elevator. “The young man at reception was very nice and helpful. Our room was on the 3rd floor though and help with our luggage would have been wonderful. The place is clean and the beds comfortable. The doors wouldn’t stay open though and the washer/dryer combo is small, and takes forever! There were directions for every appliance but that. We specifically booked there for laundry and were quite disappointed. ”
