“Breakfast was over at 9:30. That was too early for us. Also there was a loud roaring noise that sounded like it was coming from behind the wall in our bathroom. We had to keep the bathroom door closed which kept the air conditioner from cooling it. Other than those 2 things, everything else was fine.”

“The hotel was comfortable. Everything appeared to be moderately clean. We would have enjoyed the pool but it was too cold for us to use. Convenient location to everything we wanted to do. The room did not smell very good but we had a good time.”

“This hotel did not meet the reputation associated with a Marriott hotel. The mattress was old, haggard and bumpy; very uncomfortable to sleep in. It should have been replaced a long time ago. The pillows were all equally hard and uncomfortable. Ended up using a decorative pillow instead. When I tried calling the front desk, the phone didn’t work either. What a great disappointment.”

“Property is in the Old Salem downtown area… area was OK, but seemed to be a lot of police presence, and some homeless frequenting the property!! Room was clean and offered ample space, customer service was fantastic!!”

“Stay away!! I am calling days Inn worldwide to report this property. The lamp and alarm clock and microwave were all broke. Security violation in leaving the outside door propped open. None of the ice or vending machines did not work. Could never find an employee. Stacks of bed frames in the boxes stacked floor to ceiling. Dust everywhere. Dog excrement smell in the hallways.too much to list. Several rooms were empty , meaning no furniture or at beds or anything.”
