“I should preface this review by saying I had the great good fortune to live in London in 1983. London has a very different, slightly down-at-the-heels look and smell for me that I LOVE. People give five ⭐️ reviews for different reasons. This is mine: the Parkwood has this wonderful feel for me. It is a very clean and exceptionally friendly place. The breakfast is lovely. The staff and owner Monty are friendly and flexible. I am not the kind of traveler who wants a sterile anonymous environment....

“We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning. We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room. The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows. We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed. We would stay here again if we had an early flight...

“방 인테리어는 소박하고 화장실 샤워 부스가 좀 비좁았지만,,,아침 조식은 너무 훌륭하고 티,커피 서비스도 너무 좋았습니다. 생각보다 약간 애매한 위치여서 처음엔 좀 헤맸지만 근처에 식당들이 있어서 밤에 들어가도 무섭지 않고 전체적으로 만족합니다. 참고로 싱글 트윈 룸 침대는 좀 작은 듯하고 엘레베이터 내려서 계단이 몇개 있고 방문이 있습니다. 짐이 무겁거나 몸이 불편하신 분은 불편 하실수도 있습니다.”
