“Lovely old building with nice staff and excellent food. Parking can be a problem and the tv system is on satellite and hardly ever works. But definitely a lovely hotel and we would return.”

“We were only there one night and didn’t eat there in the evening but breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious with excellent open plan bathroom facilities. Pleasant walk into Sidmouth ( approx 3.5 ) miles round trip Ticked all the boxes for what we needed. Would stay again”

“i would never stay there again if you payed me did not mention folk festival was on an they were going to keep you awake all night.music was so loud impossible to even rest when finished 11pmish spend another hour and half shouting an clearing up.did not respect a single person staying there for £379 should never be allowed.you most proberley wont put this out there but this is very very true one whole nightdmare”

“Traditional inn with wonderful welcoming owners. Room was spacious, clean and cool. Food was delicious with a great choice at breakfast. Would highly recommend.”

“Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating). I...
