The hotel is beautiful, the amenities were awesome. We were celebrating Mother's Day weekend. We were excited as we booked this trip and room months in advance. Upon arrival it was beautiful , the hotel is beautiful and conveniently located for the activities we had planned for the weekend to celebrate being autism moms and finally getting a vacation. The staff at check in was amazing, after a long day and travel, we arrived late as we informed them I would. They told me how i had the last room of my calibur and when booking it i knew it was and was excited. We head up to the room and upon entering the smell of mold and mildew is overwhelming. We head right down to complain immediately. We are informed now that the hotel is booked up for the night, and we may just need to air the room out and could look into being moved tomorrow morning, we left and allowed the room to air out as we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and bar marina side downstairs for hours. We returned and the odor was a little better as it had aired out but with my asthma as soon as we closed the balcony doors, the aroma became sickening and thick. I again complained. Now we realized that we are in the room the air doesn't work 👀 the sliding door on the left is stuck , no phonesdegrees and 75 at night, that's the only reason we survived, anywho with the complaint a man comes and sprays the carpet with odorban or some chemical that's supposed to dissolve the mold and mildew smell
