Lynn and Mick were very kind hosts inviting us for Happy Hour drinks after a well needed swim in the pool on a very hot day. It was a very short walk into town and very quiet, safe and restful.”

The location provides easy access to the area and a walkable distance to town. The owners are the best. Great communication, very responsive to questions and issues and very pleasant to interact with. Highly recommend.”

“Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour.”

“Es fehlte an Dingen wie eine. Brotmesser, einer Küchenrolle oder , wo sonst stets- Flasche kaltes Wasser im Kühlschrank Der Steinboden war schmudelig und so war die Umrandung der Dusche. Der Aussenbereich war hübsch gestaltet . Bei schlechtem Wetter wer es extrem klein im Zimmer, man konnte kaum Koffer unterzubringen. ”

“Property was nice, clean and accessible. They asked us if OK not to service the room due to lack of resources, which was fine and accepted. We unfortunately lost the keys for one of the rooms, it must have fallen out of my pocket after parking and walking to a restaurant. The owner freaked out about that, we accepted responsibility and apologised. We understand that security is a great concern in this area and accepted compensation needed to replace locks, a remote and keys. The rules for the...

“Very convenient and near vineyards. Comfortable, with kitchenette, WiFi and free parking. The should make provisions for backup power during load shedding, Internet remained on butI was in the dark for a couple hours.”

“Cottage was spacious with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and good amenities, fixtures and fittings. We arrived just on dark and there were no dining options, power was limited to a few lights, due to daily "load shedding", so unable to microwave or even get a cup of tea until full power returned an hour or more later. Next morning unable to find a suitable power outlet for hairdryers supplied - on checking out was advised compatible points beside/under beds??? Staff were personable and helpful...

“Everything was great from the start. Location excellent, in a quiet street of the main one. We have walked home every night even thought we had a hire car and I don't drink. The location was really safe and within 200 metres of the main road with all the restaurants and other attractions. The apartment was perfect. Everything you needed and more. Comunication with the owner was excellent throughout. ”

“A true gem. This is my new go-to place for the first (and second) night in Cape Town. Most international flights arrive in the early morning and commercial downtown hotels do not let you check in before 3 pm. Most of us are exhausted. So make your way to Franschhoek against traffic and stop at some wineries on the way. Then rest at La Fontaine. Many fine restaurants within 0.5 miles. Lovely breakfast and exceptional service.”
